    Buying at Online Auction
    The following pages are designed to give you useful information on how to buy at Auctioneers - Online Auction - herein referred to as Harmonie.

    Buyer's Surcharge
    Buyer's surcharge is 12% payable for this sale.

    All works are not available for physical viewing. However, for customer's convenience, video and high resolution photos can be supplied upon request.


    Pre-sale Estimates
    The pre-sale estimates are intended as a guide for prospective buyers. Any bid between the high and the low pre-sale estimates would, in our opinion, offer a fair chance of success. However, all lots, depending on the degree of competition, can release prices above the pre-sale estimates.

    The reserve is the minimum price the seller is willing to accept below which the lot will not be sold.

    Condition of Lots
    Harmonie may provide condition reports, video clips or images upon request. The absence of reference to the condition of a lot in the lot description does not imply that the lot is free from faults or imperfections.


    Conditions of Business
    The Auction is governed by the Conditions of Business available in this website. These Conditions of Business apply to all aspects of the relationship between Harmonie and actual and prospective bidders and buyers. Anyone considering bidding in online auction should read them carefully.

    Bidding at Online Auction
    By placing a bid you confirm that you are satisfied with the picture or description of the Lots provided on the Website and that the information provided on the Website constitutes a sufficient level of information to enable you to make an informed decision to buy the Lot you are bidding for.

    When you register with us, you will be required to supply your name, email address and other contact information. Please ensure that you keep your password secure. You must provide us with accurate and up-to-date information. You acknowledge that we may suspend or terminate your use of the Website if it appears any of the registration information provided by you is inaccurate in any material respect.

    The Website may contain content which may be considered offensive or unsuitable for minors. Please also note that the Lots may contain images that may be harmful to or may be unsuitable to view by anyone under 18 years of age. It is the parents' or guardian's responsibility to ensure that access to such content is restricted for their children.

    You must not take any action that may interfere with the Website insert into or submit through the Website any viruses, Trojans or any other variation on type or version of software or malware that could have the effect of compromising the operation of the Website.

    You also agree not to undermine, manipulate or otherwise interfere with the bidding system, for example bidding to drive up the bid price, or bidding without intending to pay the bid price if you win the Auction.

    We are not responsible for any imperfections in the execution of the computer programs by the server or by the computer itself.

    Please note that there is a time lag between the real time current bid with the current bid shown on the computer screen especially when multiple biddings are taking place at more-or-less the same time.

    You can leave a new maximum bid at any point during the bidding period, and then the sale will close automatically on scheduled closing time, i.e. 5pm Jakarta for this sale.

    A countdown clock is placed on lot detail page for you to keep track on the time remaining to bid before the lot is closed.

    If a new highest bid is placed during the last 5 minutes before a lot closes, the end time for that lot will be extended by another 15 minutes until there are no more bids remaining. If there are still bids placed within last 5 minutes on the extended time, bidding continues by another 15 minutes. This extension will repeat for another three times for every 15 minutes. A lot of bidding activity happens in those final minutes, so keep monitoring the lots you are interested in.

    If you are unable to follow the sale to its end, simply enter your maximum amount. LARASATI will bid on your behalf up to and including this amount.

    Any breach by you of these Terms and Conditions will lead to the automatic termination of your right to access the Website and make a bid.

    Please be aware that by bidding on any of the Lots you will be entering into a binding agreement by which you are committing to buy the Lot you have bid on and pay the price you have bid plus buyer's surcharge.

    Once registered you will be able to bid by clicking on the icon of your chosen Lot and a new page will open. You will then be asked to confirm your bid. Once you have placed a bid, you will not have any right to withdraw or cancel that bid.

    Bidding Increments
    Bidding generally opens below the low estimates and advances in the following increments:

    Successful Bids
    If your bid is successful, then you must make full payment using direct or electronic bank transfer within 48 hours after the end of the Auction. Invoice will be emailed to successful bidders within 8 hours of the close of the auction.

    Currency Conversion
    Bidding is carried out in Indonesian Rupiahs, but Harmonie may provide a currency conversion for the convenience of bidders. Please note that figures shown in foreign currencies are only approximates and do not represent exact exchange rates. Payment will be requested in Indonesian Rupiahs.


    Payment must be made within 48 hours after the end of the Auction and may be made by transfer direct to Harmonie's account stated in the invoice.

    Please include your name and invoice number with your instructions to your bank. Property will not be released until full payment has cleared. Harmonie does not accept credit cards as payment for purchase.

    Collection and Delivery
    Lots will be able be collected by appointment Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm (excluding public holiday), and released to you or your authorized representative when full and cleared payment has been received by Harmonie.

    Where you ask for us to arrange local delivery of your Lot to you, we will add charges to the final sales price in order to cover the costs of delivery and insurance. We will liaise with you regarding a suitable time for delivery but you acknowledge that delivery times cannot be guaranteed and you will make sure that the Lot can be received at the designated address on the appointed day.

    Items retained will be covered by our insurance from the date of sale for a period of seven days or, if by then the goods have been collected, to the time of collection. After seven days or from the time of collection, whichever is the earlier, the lot will be entirely at the buyer's risk.

    Storage and Insurance
    All purchases will initially be held for collection at the saleroom at no charge. Harmonie provides insurance cover for a maximum of seven days after the sale. If purchases are not collected within the time stated in the catalog, they will be deposited in the warehouse and charges will be incurred.

    Packing and Handling
    We shall use all reasonable effort to take care when handling and standard packing a purchased lot but remind the buyer that after seven days or from the time of collection, the lot is entirely at the buyer's risk. There will be charges for packing and handling arrangement.

    Harmonie does not ship. You can have your own shipper handle your purchases. Please contact the shipper to arrange for packing and pick up your items. We requests that your shippers schedule pick up times at least 24 hours in advance, this will insure no delays in pick up and release of your purchases.

    Any damage caused to the Lot in transit will be the responsibility of the successful bidder and transport agent. We will not be liable for any loss of or damage to the Lots in transit and we recommend that you put suitable insurance in place.
