Sumatra, Indonesia, 1973 He graduated from Sekolah Menengah Seni Rupa (SMSR) Yogyakarta, majoring in Fine Art in 1993, then he continued his study at Indonesian Institute of Art (ISI), Yogyakarta, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, Department of Fine Art, and graduated in 1999. He founded kelompok Seni Rupa Jendela with Yunizar, M. Irfan, Rudi Mantofani, Yusra Martunus and Handiwirman. He actively participated in numerous group exhibitions in Yogyakarta and Jakarta. He has held several solo exhibitions in Yogyakarta as well as in Jakarta. Awards received include The Best art works "Refleksi Zaman" from ISI, Yogyakarta, 1998; Finalist Phillip Morris Indonesia Art Award V, 1998. | |
