| Born in Talawi, W. Sumatra, Indonesia, 1971. A graduate of ISI Yogyakarta, Yunizar has had solo exhibitions in Indonesia, Singapore, Hong Kong and has participated in group exhibitions in Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore and Hong Kong. In 1995 he won the Best Painting Award at Pekisminas III, Jakarta, and he was one of the ten finalists in the Indonesian Art Awards competiition in 1998. |
