| He learned painting from Otto Swastika. He became a member of the Indonesian Artists Association/ Pelangi led by Dr. Soelarko and also a member of the Cultural Association of Surakarta (HBS) which was founded by Dr. Moerdowo. He held his first solo exhibition in 1961 in Jakarta and afterwards in several cities in Indonesia. |
