| b. Bukittinggi, W. Sumatra, Indonesia, 1975. Handiwirman attended Indonesia Institute of Arts (ISI) 1993-1996. He is one of the member of Kelompok Seni Rupa Jendela (The Jendela Group) group of young artists from West Sumatra. He has participated in numerous exhibitions in Indonesia as well as internationally. He was cited as Artist of the Year 2004 in Tempo magazine. |
